Neighborhood Summit

 /

The inaugural Neighborhood Summit was held in September 2009. It was a day-long event designed for residents from 10 metro Atlanta counties to connect and discuss a common, inclusive agenda for strengthening the region. Initially created by the Civic League for Regional Atlanta, the annual Neighborhood Summit became owned by the Community Foundation in 2013. It was co-developed by citizen groups and regional nonprofits to meet, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for collaboration. Participants attended workshops, enjoyed exhibits, and networked with peer community leaders and elected officials. Over 600 neighborhood leaders attended the last Neighborhood Summit at the Loudermilk Center in September 2016.

We thank the community for their support of the Neighborhood Summit and are proud of the connections, conversations and collaboration that it inspired.
